Cat Valadez
Cat Valadez has been practicing yoga since 2005 and teaching
since 2012. Vinyasa Flow, biomechanics, mobility practices, yin yoga and mindfulness all find space in her classes to guide students through a practice that is safe, accessible, and integrative. Though trained in traditional yoga practices, her teaching remains in-step with new science on movement, anatomy and biomechanics. Cat is known to students as a relatable and fun-loving yoga educator who guides with clear, detailed cues to help them embody the practice. Her teaching focuses on cultivating strength, stability and self-compassion rather than striving toward exaggerated ranges of motion just for show. Cat's mission is to teach students to personalize and embody their practice, to find equanimity in their body and mind so they can access happiness and resilience off the mat.

Classes are pre-recorded which means you take them ANYTIME you want. One weekly livestream class is also offered on Zoom with Cat, which is also recorded if you can't make it.
Is this a one-time purchase or do I pay monthly?
This is a monthly or annual subscription service. If you sign up for the monthly membership you will be charged automatically every month on the date which you signed up. If you sign up for an annual membership, you will be charged once per year. Without cancellation, your membership will renew in 12 months.
Am I locked into a contract or can I cancel anytime?
No contract! If the course isn't working for you or you aren't using it, it's super easy to cancel any time. You will have access to classes after you cancel until your next billing date.
How many classes are in the collection?
There are over 60 classes right now, with new classes added every month in addition to the weekly live recorded classes. Roughly 8 new classes are added every month.
I'm new to yoga. Will this membership work for me?
In the Daily H(OM)E Practice course, there are a few Level 1 beginner classes in the course, but the majority of Vinyasa classes are aimed at students who have been practicing consistently 3-6 months or more. Unless you are athletic or have great body awareness, I don't recommend these classes for complete beginners. The Daily Deep Stretch course is suitable for all levels, including beginners.
I don't have a lot of time. How long are the classes?
Classes vary in length! The Daily H(OM)E Practice course is split into longer and shorter practices so you can choose what to take based on time. Short classes are all under 30 minutes long, longer classes are 30-60 minutes long. Daily Deep Stretch classes range from 15-30 minutes each.
Can I take my favorite classes more than once after I take them?
Yes!! The idea is for you to have a growing library of classes you can take any time and as many times as you want. Skip around or go in order, and take your favorites over and over again!
What do I need tech-wise to enjoy these classes?
You need an internet connection with video streaming capability and either an internet-connected smartphone, tablet, or PC/laptop on which to stream the videos. For the weekly livestream Zoom, you need a smartphone, tablet or PC/laptop (with a video camera, ideally) to join us live.
What yoga props do I need for these classes?
It's great to have at least 2 yoga blocks and a thick, firm blanket or firm pillow you can sit on or roll up in certain instances. Most of the time there are household items you can easily use, so you don't have to actually go buy anything aside from a yoga mat.
